Teen Mom Star Seeks Child Support from Ex

Reality television has brought issues that used to happen behind closed doors to the forefront of viewers' eyes. One of those issues, child support, has been at the center of several fights on the MTV reality show Teen Mom. On a recent episode, one of the teenage mothers got into a car accident that totaled her vehicle. She was on her way to pick up her son when the accident happened. The young girl was already having financial troubles when the accident took place and being without a car made it even more difficult for her. Although the child's father has been involved in his life, the accident made the mother realize that she needs addition financial support for her child.

Viewers watched one teenage mother on the show file for child support this week. Since she has sole child custody, she said she needs the additional money to help raise her child and that her ex-boyfriend has not given her any payments for her child to date. Are you thinking about requesting child support? Contact the Meyers Law Group now to enlist the help of a Long Island family lawyer from our firm who can advise you of your rights, file your paperwork, and help you seek the economical support your child deserves.
