Children Removed from Abusive Foster Home

It is terrible when children have to be placed in a foster home, but it is even worse when you learn that they were abused there.

Such is the case for two teenage twins that were placed in protective custody this month. After hearing their case, a judge ordered the 16-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, to be placed together in a new home.

Allegedly, the pair was sharing a home with two other adoptive boys, ages 12 and 14, who were also removed. The older brothers finally told an adult about the abuse that they have suffered at the hands of their adoptive parents, including being locked up and fed once a day.

Other incidents including beatings and physical violence were reported to the judge who will determine whether the adoptive parents will be allowed to regain custody of the children later this month. News sources confirm that the parents were arrested on two counts of unlawful imprisonment and five counts of second-degree assault.
