Halle Berry Reaches Child Custody Resolution

After spending weeks on the cover of tabloids it seems that Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry have come to a resolution regarding child custody.

The Oscar-winning actress went to the Los Angeles County courthouse for a closed meeting, after which she told her lawyer that she was "very pleased with the judge's order." Although the documents for the family law case are sealed, public court records show that a judge had dismissed the support petition and child custody filed by Aubry six weeks ago. The dismissal was also requested by Aubry.

Berry's lawyer, Neal Hersh, issued a statement to CNN saying, "We are pleased the judge took the time to deal with this very imminent and important issue." He went on to say that the judge gave them ample time to review the paperwork and discuss the case.

If child custody is a part of your upcoming divorce, you need to contact a Long Island family law attorney now to get the arrangement you want.
