Elin Nordegren Purchase Home After Divorce Settlement

Now that Elin Nordegren, former wife of Tiger Woods, has her divorce settlement in hand she is wasting no time in spending it. She just bought a new home in Florida for the price of $12.2 million.

The former Swedish model has been house hunting since last fall so it was a surprise when her final choice turned out to be an estate just ten miles south of Wood's new home.  According to the Palm Beach Post the house was built in 1932, has eight bedrooms and a large finished basement. This will be home not only to Nordegren but to her (and Tiger's) children as well, three-year-old Sam and two-year-old Charlie. While the couple legally has joint custody it is believed that the children spend most of their time with their mother.
