Man Seeks Additional Child Support after Losing Job with NYPD

Now that her ex-boyfriend has been cleared of the rape charges against him, Maria Cruz has a new axe to grind: she is furious that he has been fired by the NYPD.

Her ex-boyfriend, Kenneth Moreno, along with fellow officer Franklin Mata, were both cleared of the rape charges against them. The charges had been made by a young fashion executive who claimed that the two raped her in her own apartment. Yet even though Moreno and Mata were cleared, the NYPD has decided to fire both officers for official misconduct.

To make matters worse for Cruz, Moreno is now asking her for more child support. She claims his desire to spend more time with their 14-year-old daughter is new, and that he is only doing it since he was fired. Although Cruz is only paying $50 per month in child support, it seems as though Moreno is now interested in getting more from her.
