Lindsay Lohan Seeks Restraining Order
Another actress finds herself at the center of someone's world, although not comfortably so.
According to court documents, Lindsay Lohan's court appearances have been followed closely by David Cocordan; he has also left several gifts at her home. After hearing testimony against Cocordan, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Joseph Biderman gave Lohan a restraining order against him. Cocordan has now been ordered to stay away from the actress for a period of two years. Neither Cocordan nor Lohan, who is serving a sentence of home imprisonment, attended the restraining order hearing.
Of the evidence used in the case against Cocordan, Lohan's legal team submitted more than 100 text messages. At least one of these messages included a sexual reference, prompting Lohan to seek the restraining order. The actress is currently serving time for a violation probation. She will be under house arrest for over a month in Venice.
