Judge Denies Restraining Order Against Officer

A judge in Brevard County denied arestraining order this week against a local police officer.

Michelle Gamble called police to her home at the end of January after having a fight with her boyfriend. She claims that the responding officer, Donovan Brickhouse, then ordered her into a room, demanded that she take off her shirt and lift up her bra if she wanted to avoid any trouble.

After she filed a restraining order against him Gamble claims that Brickhouse returned to her home offering up more threats. Gamble told the judge that she has cried so much recently that she needs to wear sunglasses all the time.

Several officials with the Palm Bay police department testified before the judge that Brickhouse not only didn't know about her complaint against him but that he has never been in trouble before. Yet at the injunction hearing a different woman came forward to testify that Brickhouse had also done this to her.
