Elvis Impersonator Arrested for Failure to Pay Child Support
On Wednesday, it is reported that famous Elvis Presley impersonator Trent Carlini was placed under arrest before he was set to appear on stage at the Las Vegas Hilton. Police arrested him on a bench warrant after he failed to make child support payments. Following his arrest, his show was canceled and fans were given refunds as he was taken to jail.
According to authorities, Carlini was arrested because he failed to appear at a scheduled family court hearing on September 15th. Deputy District Attorney Shannon Russell said that the warring covered two months of delinquent $3,000 in child support payments. She also said that as of May 31st, Carlini was behind over $76,000 on payments.
