McCourts Divorce Trial May Reach Its End

Perhaps the divorce trial of the century, it appears that the McCourts' trial is winding down to a conclusion. It has largely been delayed by the inflated egos of both Frank and Jamie who have been fighting bitterly over every last part of their failed marriage. Sports fans will be watching the conclusion to see how the future of the Dodgers franchise will pan out - who runs it and whether it will be sold. It will either come about through compromise on the part of both parties, or a judge will have the final say.

According to the Los Angeles Times Judge Peter Lichtman will be issuing his  opinion as the legal mediator in their case on Friday. However, those familiar with the trail are not convinced that either of the McCourts will readily accept his decision as Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon has already nudged them to do.

If the pair is still unable to make a civil decision at that point, Judge Gordon will make his final ruling for them on December 28th.
