Husband Kills Wife and Daughter over Divorce

Police are currently looking for a 49 year old man that is accused of shooting both his wife and stepdaughter.  Both shootings led to fatalities.

Griffin police chief Frank Strickland told news sources that officers have been searching for the accused, Kenneth Baker, since after the shooting occurred.  Chief Strickland said that Baker, "told a relative he had killed his wife and stepdaughter."  Bakers wife was 38 year old Lynnale Baker and his daughter was 19 year old Shaelinda Sanders.  Police found both the mother and the daughter dead in their home.

According to reports from police, Lynnale had served her husband with divorce papers a week ago.  Officers believe that the divorce prompted Baker to murder his wife and daughter.
