Swizz Beatz Paid Over $300K in Child Support to Ex Mashonda

Producer Swizz Beatz is moving on from his ex-wife Mashonda in order to try again at marital bliss with his new fiancé, singer/actress Alicia Keys. The New York Daily News reported that Mashonda was given $334,000 in child support by Beatz after Mashonda sued him for that amount last month. The total included unpaid alimony, but it was unclear whether the money paid satisfied that debt in addition to child support or if it was only intended for child support.

What is clear is that Beatz looks forward to moving past the drama of his last relationship and fully embracing his new marriage-to-be. Beatz told the Daily News that he is very excited: "People are calling me from Dubai and Japan. We haven't set a wedding date, but we will. We're just letting everything flow."
