Jon and Kate Gosselin’s Custody Battle Rages On

It appeared that Jon and Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus Eight fame had reached some sort of child custody agreement regarding the couple's eight children, but Jon's attorney, Mary Vidas insists that this is not the case.

Jon filed paperwork back in April to receive full custody of the couple's children. At the time, Jon alleged that Kate was an "absentee mother," pointing to her stint on Dancing with the Stars as evidence and insisting that Kate has been "abusing" the terms of their current custody agreement. Kate currently retains primary custody and is supposed to receive $21,000 a month in child support from Jon, who has also complained of money troubles in recent months.

If you are going through an ugly custody battle of your own, take the time to contact the Meyers Law Group and speak with a Long Island family law attorney who can help you and your children through this difficult time.
