Christina Milan and The Dream Announce Separation

This month, singers Chirstina Milan and The-Dream confirmed that their separation to UsMagazine.  However, TMZ is asserting that the singer's husband filed divorce paperwork back in February.  In the paperwork, the 32 year old singer said that his marriage to Milan was "irretrievably broken".

Earlier this month, The-Dream took to his blog to say that when he realized his marriage was "failing" he attempted suicide.  He wrote, "I've cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I've tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming."

The couple quickly married back in September of 2009 and then had a more traditional ceremony in Rome in December.  Recently, photos of The-Dream with vacationing with his assistance surfaced, and the couple announced that they had separated.
