Richest Man in Dallas Goes Through Divorce

Although the details of his divorce are under seal, the richest man in Dallas is having a heck of a time keeping the public out of his affairs. Andy Beal, 58, is splitting from his wife Simona, after 14 years of marriage.

Simona is asking for $5 billion in damages and $15 billion in exemplary damages for several charges against her husband, including some of a sexual nature. She has even gone so far as to claim that a Beal employee stole evidence from their house to be used against her.   At this time, however, lawyers for neither party are returning calls at this time.

In a statement prepared for Andy and delivered by his spokesman, David Margulies, he has denied all allegations and asked that all questions be sent to Margulies. Andy made his fortune by collecting distressed assets at low prices, a move that has reportedly earned him $6 billion in net worth, according to Forbes Magazine. One of his assets includes the Beal Bank in Plano and Beal Bank Nevada in Las Vegas.

If you're going through a difficult divorce and there are major assets involved, protect yourself by hiring a Long Island divorce attorney from the Meyers Law Group.  Contact us now!
