Eddie Montgomery Seeks Divorce

According to the AOL country music website "The Boot", singer Eddie Montgomery is seeking a divorce from wife Tracy. He supposedly posted the devastating news on Twitter and Facebook that once she learned about her husband's cancer, Tracy started to file for divorce. A few more caustic messages were posted that have since then been removed.

The country star is battling prostate cancer.

Eddie and Tracy have four children together and one granddaughter.

As part of the country music duo Montgomery Gentry, the star is currently unavailable to discuss the details of his impending divorce. The pair have enjoyed 11 years of recording music together and releasing hits such as "If You Ever Stop Loving Me" and "Roll With Me". After becoming members of the Grand Ole Opry the duo won the American Music Awards' Favorite New Artist in the country music category.
