District Attorney's Office Helps Parents Paying Child Support during the Holidays

The Clark County district attorney's office is embracing the holiday spirit by helping individuals who owe child support avoid severe penalties.  The "Help for the Holidays" program that is running from December 6 to December 11 allows non-custodial parents to visit the DA's office to resolve outstanding bench warrants or suspended drivers licenses. For those facing penalties, the office will also help them by working out payment plans that are more affordable.

Those who are interested in this program can visit the Child Support Center of Southern Nevada at Flamingo Road and Bruce Street from 8 AM to 4 PM during those days. If you need to make payments cash, money orders and cashier's checks will be accepted at the office.

When you owe child support and are behind in your payments, you can face severe penalties that can include jail time. Don't risk spending months or even years behind bars.  Instead, contact our law firm and get help from a Long Island family lawyer.
