Sandra Bullock Gets Restraining Order

This week in Los Angeles a judge issued Sandra Bullock a three year restraining order.  The actress sought the order of protection because a man had a history of stalking her and even traveled across the country to try to meet Bullock after he was released from a mental hospital.

Now, Thomas James Weldon must refrain from trying to contact the actress and her son, Louis Bardo Bullock.  The order also extends to Bullock's ex-husband, Jesse James, who sometimes accompanies Bullock.

In 2003, Bullock obtained a restraining order against Weldon for the first time.  The order was extended and then expired last year after Weldon was placed in a mental hospital. Earlier this week, Weldon was committed indefinitely to a state mental hospital in Wyoming.
