Michael Douglas and Ex-Wife Battle it Out

This week, it is reported that actor Michael Douglas is since trying to keep his ex-wife from taking money from the earnings he has generated from the upcoming sequel to "Wall Street".  Lawyers representing the actor and attorneys representing his former wife battled it out in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday and each party accused the other of being greedy.

Diandra Douglas, whose divorce from the star was finalized 10 years ago, argued that their 1998 divorce agreement entitles her to 50% of the earnings from the new movie.  However, Douglas' legal team asserted that the actor does not own the copyright to the film so any fortune made from the movie should not be given to his ex-wife.

In 1995, the couple separated and were together in a Manhattan courtroom earlier this year when their son was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for dealing drugs.  They did not appear in court on Tuesday during the new family law proceedings.
